Join us on Wednesdays in Advent (Dec. 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 7pm) for an interactive book study with Bishop Perry and Sister Veronica Mary. Together, we will read The Fire Next Time, a classic and powerful examination of racial injustice and its impact on both individuals and the fabric of our communities by James Baldwin.
During the Zoom sessions, Bishop Perry and Sister Veronica will discuss four sections of the book, then open the floor for questions, thoughts, and discussion.

Thank you for joining us for this year’s Summer Book Study with Bishop Perry and Sister Veronica Mary, where we read White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo.
This book is an insightful, vital and transformational exploration of the social environments that white people often find themselves in, and how we who happen to be white might begin to change how we approach the ongoing work of racial justice.
