Postponed until the Fall.

Saturday, April 4, 2020
Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Detroit

With an abundance of Radical Hospitality for all, we will be postponing the BWYAYA event scheduled for April 4, 2020 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Detroit. The BWYAYA event is designed to bring people together, create connections, share food and service, and then to be sent out to continue God’s call of Beloved Community. With the recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, an in-person gathering is not advised at this time, and that is one of the reasons for the postponement.

Remember though, the desire and obligation of staying connected should still be a part of our everyday lives, and I encourage you to reach out and continue to do so. Quoting Rabbi Rav Yosef: “Every hand that we don’t shake must become a phone call that we place. Every embrace that we avoid must become a verbal expression of warmth and concern. Every inch and every foot that we physically place between ourselves and another, must become a thought as to how we might be of help to that other, should the need arise.”

The YAYA Ministries office is currently working on ways to offer online ways to connect, and I invite you to check out our webpage ( and our FaceBook page ( for more information. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me regarding this or any YAYA matter.
