Prayer Vigil in Partnership with Episcopal Church in Minnesota

Dear Friends,

I invite you to join me in being with our siblings in Minnesota who are holding a Zoom prayer vigil for all whose lives are being affected by the aggressive and fatal actions of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement squads active in Minneapolis.

As my colleague Bishop Craig Loya of MN says, “We will mourn, lament, and remember those who have died due to immigration enforcement or while in detention, and seek to root ourselves in Jesus as we continue to witness to and work toward God’s love and justice for the world.”

Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe will be with us and Spanish interpretation will be available.

Then please join me and others  in Detroit on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. for a weekly half hour prayer vigil  at the corner of Michigan and 3rd Avenues adjacent to  the US Border and Protection Office – 985 Michigan Avenue

Let us be guided by Christ’s words to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Peace,

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Bonnie A. Perry
