St. James, Dexter

Treasurer: St. James’ Dexter is looking for someone to serve as the church’s treasurer.  Monthly responsibilities (approximately 4 hours/month) include reconciling our bank statement with our record of deposits and bill payments, and producing the monthly balance sheet and treasurer’s report.  Yearly responsibilities include producing the annual budget during the month of December, as well as responding to special requests for reports (e.g., from our insurance company, Diocesan parochial report, etc.).  These additional responsibilities are estimated to take approximately 20 hours.  Most of the work can be performed virtually.  Pay:  $100/hour.  CPA required, as well as experience with Church Windows or a similar accounting program.  Please send any inquiries or resume to Julie Lowery, julie.lowery13@gmail.com
