The Rev. William (Bill) T. Roberts passed away on Saturday, November 30 with his wife, Alicia at his side.
Bill was Mayor of Walled Lake before he was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan in 2010. He served for many years as a trustee of our diocese. A week before he died, Bill called the bishop and asked with sadness, if he might resign as secretary.
A memorial service for The Rev. William T. Roberts will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 4800 Woodward Ave in Detroit. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Clergy are invited to vest in cassock & surplice, with a tippet or white stole.
