A Statement from Bishop Bonnie A. Perry Following the IRS Decision To Lift Penalty on Churches Endorsing Political Candidates

Dear Friends,

In light of the recent IRS decision stating that churches are now able to endorse specific political candidates please abide by the following guidelines:

Speak out boldly on any issue relating to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, citing biblical texts and sound Anglican theological precepts, and refrain from endorsing any specific political candidate or political party.
