Diocesan Council Announces 2025 Social Service and Advocacy/Public Witness Grant Awards

At their meeting on March 29, 2025, the members of Diocesan Council considered the recommendations of the Loans and Grants committee regarding the applications received for the 2025 Social Service Ministries and Advocacy/Public Witness Grants.

This year there was a significant increase in the number of grant requests as well as amount, representing not only the increasing needs but also highlights the faithful and responsive work our congregations are doing to meet those needs.

On behalf of Diocesan Council and Bishop Perry, we are pleased to announce that the following grant awards have been made. While the available funds were not enough to fully fund each request, the Diocesan Council was pleased to be able to share funds to support the many wonderful ways our communities of faith respond to the needs in their local contexts.

At our Diocesan Convention this year, we would love to share some of the ministries in our diocese supported by these grants.  Please send a few of your favorite photographs of your supported ministry to:  Dennis Boyd Jr., Canon for Communications at dboyd@edomi.org.

Thank you all for participating in the 2025 Social Service and Advocacy/Public Witness grant programs.

We wish you all well.

Faithfully,

Susan Mason
Diocesan Program Administrator
On behalf of Diocesan Council
