Going Forward Together: The Sunday after the Presidential Election 2024
(LITURGICAL RESOURCE GUIDE)

People in our communities are feeling exhausted. As we face turmoil, God keeps us grounded. Faith and prayer keep us grounded. Whatever happens in the election, this remains true. As we navigate the anxiety, uncertainty, and challenges, we abide in God’s unending love for all, and we have selected prayers and readings that help us lift these themes in our worship.

The prayers and readings below help us and our communities to lift this truth: Our hope in God is founded in Christ the King; in the darkest of times it is God, love, and peace which carry us through.
