Race Matters Short Courses
For the month of September, the Diocese of Michigan is offering four short discussion courses, each covering an article about race and racism, written by contemporary thought leaders.
Spend an hour with diocesan leaders and your peers discussing the article, learning from each other, and deepening your understanding of our world.
If you are interested in a discussion, you need only attend one of the timeslots offered for each class. You will be sent Zoom links after you register.
Please contact Anna Stania at email@example.com with any questions.
The courses are centered around these articles:
- The Case for Reparations by Ta-Nehisi Coates
- Speaking of Freedom By Kelly Brown Douglas, Stephanie Spellers and Winnie Varghese
- You Want a Confederate Monument? My Body is a Confederate Monument by Caroline Randall Williams
- What’s my complicity? Talking White Fragility with Robin DiAngelo
