Stewardship Town Hall Meeting

September 9, 2020

CONGREGATIONAL STEWARDSHIP LEADERS AND TEAM MEMBERS JOINED IN CONVERSATION ABOUT EFFECTIVE STEWARDSHIP PRACTICES TODAY

  • Where do we begin? What are practical ways of structuring an annual campaign this year?
  • How can we apply this year’s theme and materials from The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) for virtual stewardship?
  • How can our congregation develop resources and practices for online giving?
  • How can we help strengthen our congregation by sharing stories of caring, impact and transformation to create community and meaning during our fall campaign?

Our facilitators for these conversations were:

      • The Rev. Sarah Fisher, Rector, St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church, Marietta, Georgia and Vice President and board member of The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS)
      • The Rev. Chris Harris, Associate Rector, Christ Church Cranbrook and Treasurer and board member of The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS)
      • The Rev. Vicki Hesse, Director of the Whitaker Institute
      • Jim Gettel, Canon for Congregational Life

The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) is a network of leaders, churches, and dioceses devoted to building a culture of generosity for greater ministry impact and personal transformation.
We are excited to bring you together in a practice group of stewardship leaders who can share and support one another in best practices! Please join us again in October!
